You may want to keep things in one position, and that comes with the territory of actually locking an object.

You can lock objects by going to the Arrange menu and choosing lock.

And then from there, you can't move the object at all.

It's part of the upholstery, you couldn't lock. Now that's locked, I can't move alter or resize.

Go ahead and select all the shapes and mark them, and you could hold down Shift and multiple select.

Now, we have three objects selected and we can lock all three at the same time.

Now you see, we can do it to the text box as well,

and we can use the arrow keys to nudge down or nudge your graphics or text boxes, and we could lock it.

Select the second slide and lock the text boxes. And we could stretch this text box to save some screen real state and lock it.

The reason why is you have to click on the object you wish to unlock.
